The Things Teens Want The Most

What is it with teens and their wants? Are the things these teens getting really necessary? How much money are they willing to spend to get what they want? How far will they go to get it? These are just a couple of questions people ask themselves when dealing with kids who just have to have it all.
Teens these days want to keep up with the Jones. Now days when something new comes out and are put on shelves, they stop at nothing to acquire them. It’s almost as if this new era of technology fuels them to live. But have they ever thought how much of a hole their putting in their parents pockets? Or how much these items really cost right off of the store shelves?
Every time a new pair of some of the hottest shoes comes out like Jordan’s, One’s, Rec’s, just to name a few, who but the teens are patiently waiting at the store fronts waiting in line for the doors to swing open. And the next week, who but them, are in the same line at the same store getting the same shoes just in a different color. The question I ask is “WHY”?
From my point of view, the average teen spends about $300 a month on shoes. Now if you were to multiply that number by 12, you’ll be spending $3,600 on shoes a year. That a great amount of money just to be blowing it all on shoes don’t you think.

  1. I agree with this article!! I believe we all should be leaders of our own lives and wear and present themseleves as they want to and not follow someone else. However, there could have been more facts and the article could have been longer. You could have went into detail by asking WHY this occurs and actually answering it.
